In the past few months, since the beginning of the rainy season, we have been inundated with many patients coming in with fever which is usually the first sign of Malaria. This year we had over a thousand cases that were treated for both Malaria and Dengue fevers of which I was also a victim. As you can see doctors do get sick as well.
We had the opportunity of leading 378 persons to faith in the Lord Jesus Christ who have been referred to our partner churches here in Ouagadougou for follow-up and discipleship.
Work has also resumed on our 24 hospital beds building through the help of some more funding we received from our friends from the Netherlands and a few others. We still do need more funds to enable us finish this very important project so as to enable provide a better place the numerous patients we receive each year.
We able to visit more displaced persons affected by the ongoing insecurity in the country to distributed more meals to those in need. So far we distributed over 1500 meals to such persons. The need indeed is great and we planned to continue to do more in the coming year. We will appreciate your prayers for such persons especially that the war will end and the displaced persons to go back to their homes and farms and be able to live normal lives again.
I had the opportunity of going on a mission trip to a sister’s mission hospital in Guinea Conakry where I had to fill in for the hospital surgeon who was on vacation. One of the cases we had to operate on was a young mother who came in with advance breast cancer with no means and no one to help with her treatment, by the grace of God we were able to raise the funds within the hospital and with team in place I was able to successfully do a mastectomy and she is now undergoing chemotherapy. Do kindly say a prayer for her and her family especially that they will come to faith in the Lord Christ.
We will appreciate your praying with us by,
For our Health especially for Felix who have had some health issues lately.
That those who came to faith in Christ will grow and become disciples through which others are drawn to the Lord as well.
Continue to pray for the security situation in the country. Many are still displaced and living in very poor and difficult conditions.
We are praying and trusting God for more doctors and other health workers who will join our team both short and long-term.
For our children, Blessing, Joy and Praise that they will continue to grow in the grace and knowledge of the Lord and continue to walk closely with Him.
Finally Dr Rolf Pelleboer will be visiting with a team from the Netherlands in the beginning of the year. Pray that their visit will be very fruitful and that we will both be encourage as we work during their visit.
The year is drawing fast to the end and many are already planning for the coming year with yet a lot of what they had planned for this year yet undone. As we look back, we wish thank each and every one who has stood with us in prayer and supported us in many ways. The journey has been long but we thank the Lord God Almighty who has been faithful and has brought us thus far. We thank each and every person who has being part of helping us put a smile on the face of many whom we had the opportunity of touching with the help you have rendered and the prayer you have raised on our behalf. Together and with the Lord we have made it happen. As you celebrate Christmas and the coming year, we pray the Lord of peace to fill your hearts and of your loved ones with the peace that surpasses all understanding in Christ Jesus. Do have a blessed Christmas and a blessed year 2026
