Mr. Isaac Kwesi Mensah is currently the President/CEO of Dependable Home Healthcare, Inc. a 30-year-old company he co-founded and owns with his wife Sarah T Mensah in 1991. The company’s mission is to provide home and community services to individuals with special needs.
Dependable Home Healthcare, Inc. has evolved to become a leader of Home and Community-Based Services serving over 400 individuals with nearly 500 employees within the State of Minnesota. The company’s philosophy of approaching each individual’s needs from a person-centered perspective offers a unique value proposition to the recipients of the services.
Prior to assuming the full-time responsibility as President/CEO of Dependable Home Healthcare in 2001, Mr. Mensah served as a Process and Packaging development Engineer with the Pillsbury Company from 1987 – 2001 and subsequent to that experience, he also served as Manufacturing Manager for the Proctor & Gamble Company from 1983- 1987.
Mr. Mensah is also very active in the community; besides the board membership of African Partners Medical, he previously served in the following positions.
Industry, Labor & Business representative, Governor Mark Dayton’s State Council for Rehabilitation.
Former Member of the Board, School District 916 Foundation
Past President, Ghanaian Association Of Minnesota
Mr. Mensah obtained a Bachelor of Science Degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Minnesota in 1983.
He and his wife Sarah, have 3 children, Kevin, Keith and Naana.
